OpenFDE AOSP14 Preview Release Announcement

We’re excited to announce that OpenFDE has been fully upgraded from AOSP11 to AOSP14. This update aims to deliver a more smooth and visually appealing system experience. The interface UI has been optimized, and the visual presentation has been焕然一新. The functionality of some application software has also been enhanced.

As this is a preview version, potential instability issues might occur. We recommend backing up critical data prior to installation.

Installation Notes

Uninstall the Previous Version

If you have OpenFDE (AOSP11) installed, please uninstall it first!

sudo apt purge openfde

Install the New Version of OpenFDE (AOSP14)

Use the following commands to download the new installation script for OpenFDE (AOSP14).

curl -fsSL https://openfde.com/getopenfde/get-openfde14.sh -o get-openfde.sh

execute the script.

sudo sh ./get-openfde.sh

After the new version is successfully installed, some of the interface screens are shown below.
